As discussed at the meeting recommendation 2 was reworded to:

 

  1. That the blue badge process confirms that the appropriate psychological, medical or neurological evidence and expertise have been considered before a final refusal decision is made, enhancing the objective scrutiny of refusals that is already in place. Implementation by end September 2021.

 

As discussed at the meeting recommendation 6 was reworded to:

 

  1. That the Executive requests a review to ensure that blue badge refusal letters are empathetic, easy to understand and demonstrate to applicants that all their evidence has been considered.  By end November 2021.
